Write a scene

From an idea to a moving explanation.

Start with AI

Copy the prompt into your AI chat and replace the description at the end. It includes the API, scene format and a working example.

Then choose New scene, paste the returned TypeScript, and Run.

New scenes use Manim modules. Import from manim-web and export an async function. The studio supplies the scene and handles playback, seeking and export.

Await every scene.play(…) and scene.wait(seconds). Use duration for animation timing. Keep scenes deterministic so seeking and exported frames agree.

Older examples use the Workshop script API (api.segment and api.hold). They keep their original format. Use New scene before pasting an AI-generated module.
